Paul Poteet

Paul is the CEO and Founder of Surge Investment Group. He attended BYU-Idaho where he earned a degree in Business Management and Entrepreneurship. Over his six-year career in development, Paul has personally led the entitlements for 4,031 units spread across 44 projects and seven states, totaling more than $60MM in land value. Additionally, he has personally been involved in the financing and construction of 12 multi-family projects totaling 774 units, representing a total built value of more than $180MM. Previously, Paul was the co-founder of another successful multi-family development firm. After a successful exit, he founded Surge Investment Group with a goal to become one of the top multi-family developers in the country. Under his leadership, Surge has experienced a high degree of growth, acquired 6 multi-family development sites, raised over $35MM in equity, and closed on over $80MM in construction debt for their projects since late 2021.
